Note: This app does not support Myron L® Company ULTRAPEN PTBTx2 (Second Generation; Lot Code Y1931 and later).

INTRODUCTION

The ULTRAPEN PTBTX App serves as a graphical user interface (GUI) and communication platform that, in conjunction with Myron L® Company’s First Generation ULTRAPEN pocket testers, transforms an iOS device into a proficient measurement and data storage solution for various water quality applications. This setup aims for speed, reliability, and user-friendliness.

ADVANCED FEATURES INCLUDE:

• Wireless communication ensures efficient sample testing without cumbersome wires, allowing for safe handling of the mobile device during measurements.
• An intuitive GUI facilitates seamless pairing, calibration, measurement, and recording within the app's onboard database.
• The database enables sorting, filtering, and exporting of data through the device's email application in formats such as .xls, .xlsx, or .csv.
• Automatic calibration records for each ULTRAPEN PTBTX pocket tester enhance traceability and accountability in measurements.

WORKS WITH ULTRAPEN POCKET TESTERS:

• ULTRAPEN PTBT1 (First Generation): Measures Conductivity, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Salinity, and Temperature.
• ULTRAPEN PTBT2 (First Generation): Measures pH and Temperature; supports 1, 2, and 3 point calibration options.
• ULTRAPEN PTBT3 (First Generation): Measures Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP) and Temperature; can be calibrated using three different points (80 mV, 260 mV, or 470 mV).

The PTBT2 and PTBT3 models feature both sample-and-hold mode as well as real-time measurement capabilities.
